I have 2 project's on the go at the moment and seeing as progress is rather slow I thought I'd show you what I've done so far.First of all is my night time project when the light isn't too good,my crochet blanket,my second crochet blanket the first one was a doll's blanket last christmas for Alice, not sure if that one count's or not?
And then my project for day time is this tractor panel that I got from Louise at sew scrumptious when we did a FQ swap. She sent me this lovely panel as an extra gift for Hamish. It was 4 tractor's in a row but I cut it in half and then stitched it back together to make a cushion panel which I am hand quilting.
And just a few of the lovely flower's growing in the garden this summer. Before of course thing's start to die off for the winter. This week has been alot cooler and wetter.
I wonder what everyone else is working on at the moment?

Hi Georgie!
ReplyDeleteI bet Hamish will claim the cushion when it's finished!
I made my Hamish a quilt featuring tractors, diggers and lorries when he was 6 - he's still sleeping under it at 17!!
Your crochet blanket makes the perfect might time project especially if the weather is starting to cool down, I really like the colours you've chosen... has Alice claimed this one yet? I know I would!
ReplyDeleteLovely soft colours in your crochet blanket. It's the perfect night time project especially as you head into autumn. Hand quilting that tractor cushion panel is going to really make the details stand out. I'm sure Hamish will treasure it.
