Alice's 1st craft club make!As promised I am posting Alice's first ever after school craft club make, isn't it absolutely great I just love the bright colour's!And would you believe that I was supposed to be going out tonight and my little 5 year old fashion-nista adviced me on my wardrobe for this evening "mummy why don't you wear your black leggings, brown boot's and that new top the long purple one!".Which was exactly what I was thinking my mini GokWan.Is this a mini Cath Kidston or Amy Butler in the making??Hmmm I sure hope so!
I went into town yesterday and saw these beautiful tulip's and just couldn't resist! With the feeling that spring is just around the corner Hmmm what colour tulip's shall I have?In the end I plumped for these pretty pink one's.
I sat them on the beautiful table runner I recieved from Michelle in NZ a fellow blogger, sorry Michelle it has been christened by Alice and Hamish with a little felt pen stain you might just spot it!
And then I bought these lovely fruity tea-lights.I love my tea-lights they make the room really cosy.
And this afternoon I went into Alice's school to help out with the once a week craft group that she attend's,we had a great time making tissue paper mosaic style picture's and paper mache head's.When she bring's her little crafty makes home next tuesday I shall post them on here for you to see.
What a week it's been I seem to have spent it being busy doing nothing really!Hamish is going through a hat fetish at the moment as you can see.And quite recently gave up wearing nappies during the day. This morning saturday Alice went to her usual swimming lesson and recieved a certificate and her first stage one badge. . . . . . . . . .Well done Alice!
Here's Alice posing in her favourite hat and pulling Hamish about,oh how they love to wind each other up!
Hamish is well hidden under one of DH's old hats.
This is a hyacinth that has been up until quite recently struggling to grow in the cold greenhouse.
And a little of what I've been up to and what I'm currently working on!Firstly this pretty red sparkly wool knitted rose brooch.
And then this work-in-progress since well before christmas, sorry about the dodgy picture.
This picture being a little better. This is going to be a round cushion for the front room,I kinda need some new cushion's and I fancied a few crochet one's and a few round one's just to be a little different. And in the process of doing this cushion it's given me a few idea's for christmas and birthday present's for the kid's.I think I need to make note's of these so I don't forget my future planned project's.
What have you all been up to this week? Please stay tuned as I shall very shortly be annoucing that giveaway that I mentioned before christmas.
