What a week!

What a week it's been I seem to have spent it being busy doing nothing really!Hamish is going through a hat fetish at the moment as you can see.And quite recently gave up wearing nappies during the day. This morning saturday Alice went to her usual swimming lesson and recieved a certificate and her first stage one badge. . . . . . . . . .Well done Alice!
Here's Alice posing in her favourite hat and pulling Hamish about,oh how they love to wind each other up!
Hamish is well hidden under one of DH's old hats.
This is a hyacinth that has been up until quite recently struggling to grow in the cold greenhouse.
And a little of what I've been up to and what I'm currently working on!Firstly this pretty red sparkly wool knitted rose brooch.
And then this work-in-progress since well before christmas, sorry about the dodgy picture.
This picture being a little better. This is going to be a round cushion for the front room,I kinda need some new cushion's and I fancied a few crochet one's and a few round one's just to be a little different. And in the process of doing this cushion it's given me a few idea's for christmas and birthday present's for the kid's.I think I need to make note's of these so I don't forget my future planned project's.
What have you all been up to this week? Please stay tuned as I shall very shortly be annoucing that giveaway that I mentioned before christmas.

  1. Hi Georgie, don't you love some of those cute stages our kids go through, I wish mine were cute and little again sometimes!!! The red flower is very pretty and I'm sure the pink cushions are going to look fabulous, don't forget to show us pictures when it's finished. Hope your weekend is going well.
    Hugs

  2. It's funny the various stages kids go through. Cute pictures of your kids and nice to see what you've been up to lately. I've been making round cushions too.
